The hostel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. the decorations were nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating. the rooftop terrace was a lovely feature of the hostel. It was spacious and provided a great space for yoga sessions or just hanging out and enjoying the surroundings. - the location of the hostel was convenient, with a bus stop nearby for easy access to Las Palmas. there were plenty of outdoor activities available, such as hikes and beaches, for those looking to explore the area.
The hostel was situated on a busy road, which resulted in a lot of noise. It was necessary to use earplugs to get a restful night's sleep.

Casa Calma Yoga Guesthouse was a wonderful experience. the hostel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. the private rooms and terrace were beautifully designed. the hostel also offered yoga sessions every morning, perfect for those who are into yoga. I also appreciated their initiative to sell plastic, free bottled water. the volunteers, owner, and guests formed a close, knit community, and I immediately felt welcomed and like a part of the family. the dorm beds were well, equipped, with curtains, sockets, and lights. the duvets provided were warm and comfortable. the hostel felt safe, and I didn't need to worry about my belongings. the kitchen was organized, with individual shelves in the fridge and designated spaces for groceries. the hostel had a quiet atmosphere, where you could easily socialize or find a place for yourself. the WiFi worked well, and there were spectacular hiking trails and natural pools nearby. Cons: Everything is what I need and want. 😊.

I particularly enjoyed the yoga classes, which had a nice touch of essential oils at the end. the rooftop terrace was another highlight, perfect for morning yoga sessions or simply relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

As a solo traveler, I had the most wonderful time at Casa Calma. The volunteers, owner, and guests were like one big family, making me feel immediately welcome and at home. The dorm beds were comfortable with curtains, sockets, and lights, and the duvets were super warm. The hostel felt perfectly safe, so I never needed to use the lockers. The kitchen was well-organized, with individual shelves in the fridge and designated places for storing groceries. The hostel was quiet, allowing for both socializing and personal space. The daily yoga sessions on the terrace were the cherry on top. The surrounding area offered spectacular hikes and natural pools. I will happily come back anytime.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hostel had a really friendly atmosphere and it was easy to meet new people. The location was great, with easy access to the bus stop and nearby attractions. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a terrace where I could hang out and relax.
The lack of air conditioning in the bedroom was a big downside, especially during the hot Easter weather. The windows couldn't be opened at night due to noise, so it felt like the room was lacking oxygen with six people in there.

We had the most relaxing time at Casa Calma. The location was beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery and a local ambiance. The guesthouse itself was beautifully decorated, creating a peaceful atmosphere throughout. The rooftop was a highlight, perfect for morning yoga sessions with the essential oil touch. We also appreciated the proximity to a large supermarket and the availability of hiking trails nearby. we would definitely stay again and highly recommend Casa Calma for a tranquil getaway.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The late charge fee for going over the designated time was a bit rigid, as we were 30 minutes late due to transport delays.

The facilities were very clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning of the bathrooms and toilets. The kitchen was also well-equipped, making it convenient for guests who want to cook their own meals. The location of the hostel was great, being close to the bus stop and within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. One of the best aspects was the beautiful yoga deck, where I could relax and practice yoga.
Additionally, the room I stayed in was not very comfortable. The small window made the room dark and stuffy, and there was no net to prevent insects from entering, resulting in a lot of cockroaches coming in.
